Born in Kobe — a port city world-renowned for its Kobe beef — I began my career as an elementary school teacher before dedicating the past 11 years to expanding and teaching at my own calligraphy school. Through calligraphy education for students ranging from young children to adults, I focuse not only on technique but on cultivating mindfulness, discipline, and the deeper spiritual values found along “the Way” of Japanese calligraphy.

My artistic work spans a wide range of expressions, including live calligraphy performances at major shopping malls and sacred shrines, coaching professional athletes, appearing on television programs, and creating logos and branding pieces for businesses. I am devoted to preserving and sharing Japanese culture through calligraphy, blending timeless tradition with contemporary artistry.
